To support CYLAD Germany growth, we are very delighted to welcome and introduce 5 new members of our German consulting team. Over the past years the German office, based in Hamburg, has developed lasting relationships with clients and the team is glad to continuously work with industrial BtB leaders both on consultancy projects as well as knowledge expertise assignments with our branch CYLAD Experts.

Thank you to the team for contributing every day to the development of the firm.

  • Melissa Gile: Melissa has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle (UW), as well as a M.Sc. in Material Science from the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH) and an M.A. in Entrepreneurial Technology Management from the Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT). With a strong pulse for creativity and entrepreneurship, she worked as an innovation consultant during business school, and is the previous co-founder of two startups in the healthcare industry, with a strong focus on product development, customer relations and strategic project management. She also has 4 years of experience in materials research at both UW and Helmholtz-Institut Geesthacht (HZG). She is very much looking forward to supporting CYLAD’s clients and bolstering the value of their people, portfolios and activities.
  • Tobias Kanski: Tobias graduated from the Technical University Darmstadt with a Master’s in mathematics interdisciplinary after semesters abroad in Hong Kong and Beijing, where he also learnt to speak Chinese on B1 level. Besides his studies, he gained first professional experience during his internship and time as a working student in a consultancy. Tobias is looking forward to shaping the technologies of the future together with CYLAD and its clients.

 

  • Johannes Klein: Johannes recently graduated with a Master’s degree of Industrial Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) after semesters abroad in Finland and Turkey. Besides his studies, he gained first professional experience during his internships in a consultancy and a manufacturing start-up. Johannes is looking forward to providing solutions to the challenges of CYLAD’s clients.

 

  • Jan Sachtleben: Within the last two years, Jan has gained initial experience in strategy & operations consulting at Lumics (JV of Lufthansa Technik & McKinsey). Thereby, he focused mainly on transformations within the aviation industry by combining lean management with digital & data analytic skills. Before joining management consulting, he graduated in Management Engineering (M.Sc.) from Politecnico di Milano. Jan is looking forward to leveraging and expanding his experience in transformation projects and creating impact with CYLAD’s clients in a rapid changing environment.

 

  • Fridolin Sommer: Fridolin graduated from the Technical University of Dortmund with a Master of Chemistry focusing onto ramp-up management for chemical applications and process engineering. Whilst studying Business Administration, he managed an interdisciplinary research project onto the development of functionalized downstream materials and obtained a PhD in chemistry. Fridolin is looking forward to help CYLAD’s clients strengthen their research and development initiatives.
