The CYLAD Foundation aims to foster social entrepreneurship
The CYLAD Foundation is a corporate foundation created in 2012. The main objective of the Foundation is to promote social and professional integration, especially through support of entrepreneurial endeavors and training.
The firm’s partners created the Foundation to reflect the values of CYLAD. The Foundation embodies the partners’ willingness to contribute to equal opportunities and enable everyone to achieve their personal and professional ambitions.
To meet this objective, the CYLAD Foundation provides consulting time and financial help to non-profit associations supporting the development of businesses.

With the creation of its corporate foundation, CYLAD is committed to retain core values of solidarity of both its founders and its workforce.
The Foundation concretely operates through team involvement in both operating tasks and supported projects.

At CYLAD, entrepreneurship stands for the willingness and ability to innovate. It also includes developing the activities and competitiveness of its clients.
The Foundation believes that entrepreneurship is a means of social and professional integration which is its main purpose.
S E L E C T I O N C R I T E R I A
Associations supported by CYLAD Foundation should fulfill the following premises:
- Recognized as non-profit organizations of public interest
- Share common values with the Foundation
- Activities in accordance with the Foundation purposes, i.e. social and professional integration
The Foundation provides financial and material support to the associations which it supports. Funds are validated by the Board once a year.
Partnerships
In addition to financial support, CYLAD Foundation aims to commit itself and be actively involved in Réseau Entreprendre activities. Foundation members take part in candidates’ selection processes.
The aim of Réseau Entreprendre is to target promising projects that could create employment.
CYLAD Foundation has signed the Corporate Patronage Charter written by ADMICAL (association of public utility for patronage in France for 35 years).
The Corporate Patronage Charter aims at gathering the actors of corporate patronage around ethics and values of the patronage including:
- Free commitment in favor of the public interest, in the long term without seeking to have an impact on its market activities
- Link of trust and exchange between patrons and partner
- Mutual respect: respect for the beneficiary and transparency towards the patron regarding the use of the funds allocated and the implementation of the project covered by the patronage
Adie is a non-profit organization helping people with financial difficulties to create their own business and therefore their own employment through microcredit.
- Financing micro-entrepreneurs, who do not have access to bank credit, through microcredit
- Supporting micro-entrepreneurs before, during, and after the creation of their business to ensure the sustainability of their activity
- Contributing to the improvement of the institutional environment for microcredit and business creation
Board
The Board consists of 8 members, including among others, three CYLAD Consulting Partners and 3 external members who are competent in the Foundation’s areas of impact and share its values.
Bertrand Parmentier

Bertrand Parmentier – Chairman of the Foundation
Bertrand Parmentier spent a significant portion of his career at the Pierre Fabre Group. Beginning his career at the pharmaceutical company as the CFO, he then temporarily spent a stint away at Latécoère, where he held the position of Managing Director & CFO and then Chairman of the Board. However, after the death of Mr. Fabre, Bertrand returned to the Pierre Fabre Group to take over as the General Manager of the company, as well as sit on the Board of Directors of Pierre Fabre Participations.

Paul Archer – Responsible for the Foundation
Paul Archer founded Cylad Consulting S.A.S. together with Sébastien Chaussoy in 2007. He began his career at Astrium as R & D leader in composites for 5 years. He then moved on to Strategy & Management Consulting by joining A.T. Kearney and Capgemini Consulting.

Sébastien Chaussoy – Partner
Sébastien Chaussoy founded Cylad Consulting S.A.S together with Paul Archer in 2007. After 5 years as a Project Engineer at Fedex EMEA, he joined the management consulting world and worked as a consultant at PwC and IBM Business Consulting Services.

Olivier Paget – Partner
Olivier Paget joined the Cylad Consulting Partner team in 2010. After working as a Development Engineer within the technical department of an automotive tier 1 supplier, Oliver Paget became a consultant at Arthur Andersen, BearingPoint and OC&C.
Thomas Gutierrez

Thomas Gutierrez – Member of Foundation
Thomas Gutierrez started his career as a Supply Chain Engineer in the United States for 2 years. After 12 years of consultancy experience, he joined Eurocopter in 2013 as an Architect for Performance Based Services, a position he currently holds. Thomas Gutierrez is also deeply committed to sporting and cultural associations.
Thierry Schietecatte

Thierry Schietecatte – Member of Foundation
Thierry Schietecatte started his career in 1996 as a R & D Engineer and later as Project Leader at Delphi. He joined Vallourec in 2002, first in operational controlling, then to be responsible for several plants successively. Thierry Schietecatte joined the AREVA group in 2009 being in charge of executive leaderships in the sector of nuclear component manufacturing and services. He is currently Chief Executive for Mobile Equipment Product Line.
